Meet Lisa Comer, our top recruiter here at Abbey Personnel!

My personal life and working week is often a busy one. With my alarm going off at 7am it is a whirl wind of getting myself ready and running the kids to school before arriving to the office 👩‍💻

I joined the Abbey Personnel team 2 years ago as a compliancy administrator. Since then I have learnt the workings of recruitment and have gone from resourcer to my current role as recruiter.

My day often involves lots of phone calls, emails, admin and making sure everybody is happy where they are on site. After a quick lunch break with my eldest daughter the day fly's by and before I know it is home time. My evening routine is pretty much the same most evenings... washing school uniforms, cooking tea and then some chill time binge watching Power.

I have a background of construction, admin, hospitality and education which has helped me with my very sociable role as a recruiter. If you know me then you know I love to have a laugh and tend to get on with everybody which makes my job pretty smooth sailing! 3 things you will always find at my desk are BBQ quavers, a cup of coffee and a big bottle of sparkling water😊

The best weekends for me involve girly brunches, a family dinner, a trip to the pub or just laying in bed recharging for the week ahead 😂
