At Abbey Personnel, when a new team member joins this is one of the first things we cover alongside the importance of data protection. Consider attending workshops, seminars, and webinars on DEI and encouraging your team to do the same 👩🏫
> Establish DEI goals and objectives: Set clear and measurable goals for increasing diversity within your agency and with your clients. Recruitment agency's in general tend to be very target driven so why not for example, aim to increase the percentage of candidates from underrepresented groups that you place in jobs by a certain percentage over the next year ↗
> Promote job opportunities to underrepresented groups: Actively seek out candidates from diverse backgrounds. Consider partnering with community organizations and schools to find diverse talent pools.
> Remove bias from job descriptions and interview processes: Work with your clients to remove biased language from job descriptions and ensure that interview questions are fair and unbiased.
> Evaluate and track progress: Regularly assess your progress towards your DEI goals and adjust your strategies as needed 📊
